The Joseph Bell
Centre is an interdisciplinary and cross-institutional Centre, jointly
supported by the University of Edinburgh, Glasgow Caledonian University
and the Lothian & Borders Police Forensic Science Labaratory.
Techniques
The Centre develops, applies and teaches techniques that tie together
academic research and the needs of the criminal justice system.
Resources
The Joseph Bell Centre regularly publishes
its findings and works with partners to produce demo versions of modelling
techniques.
Training
The Joseph Bell Centre offers training courses to enhance and expand
the skills of lawyers, forensic scientists, law enforcement officials,
law students, IT security staff, and the judiciary.
Partnerships
The Joseph Bell Centre is supported by several Scottish universities and institutions,
bringing together a wealth of experience in technology, science and law.
